1. Scope and testing status
This policy covers the custom Starz 3X website and its planned direct integrations with Discord, payment providers, Starz bots, and game services. It does not control Discord, Stripe, PayPal, Rust, console platforms, or other third-party services, which have their own privacy terms. The storefront is still in testing and should not accept live payments until this policy and the operator's identity are fully configured.
2. Information collected
- Account information: Discord user ID, display name, avatar, OAuth session details, verified email when provided by the authentication flow, linked player identity, and preferred server.
- Store information: cart, order, product, price, currency, payment status, masked gift-card reference, fulfillment status, subscription state, refund or dispute state, and support history.
- Community and game information: tickets, game results, leaderboard activity, authorized combat-map data, kit delivery records, server selection, and bot audit events where the feature requires them.
- Technical information: IP address, request time, browser or device information, cookies or session identifiers, error logs, security events, and rate-limit records.
Starz should not receive or store full card or PayPal funding credentials. Those are handled by the selected payment provider.
3. How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, link Discord and game identities, display balances and history, process and reconcile orders, deliver approved benefits, prevent duplicate or unauthorized activity, operate minigames and leaderboards, provide support, investigate errors or disputes, maintain audit records, and comply with legal obligations.
4. When information is shared
Data may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate a feature, including hosting and database vendors, Discord, payment processors, and the Starz bots responsible for authorized delivery. Public community features may display a Discord name, game identity, ranking, or result as clearly indicated. Sensitive account, payment, gift-card, and admin location information must not be placed in public logs.
Starz does not intend to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, this policy and any required choices must be updated first.
5. Retention and security
Account and operational data should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the feature, security, accounting, dispute, fraud, and legal-record purposes. Financial and audit records may require longer retention than ordinary activity data. Access controls, signed server-to-server requests, least-privilege permissions, and redacted logs are intended safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and requests
You may sign out, revoke the Discord connection through Discord, and request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of eligible personal information through private support. Some records may be retained where necessary for completed transactions, security, disputes, or law. Requests may require identity verification and will be handled according to the rights available in your jurisdiction.
7. Children and international use
The paid storefront is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the relevant transaction or data processing. A parent or guardian should contact support regarding a child's information. Information may be processed where Starz and its service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
