These recurring listings remain checkout-blocked while the website is in testing. They must not be sold until provider-side subscription creation, renewal events, failed-payment handling, cancellation, expiration, refunds, and duplicate-safe fulfillment are implemented and verified end to end.
2. A product is recurring only when labeled
A product is a subscription only when its product page and checkout clearly identify it as recurring and show the billing frequency, initial price, renewal price, included benefits, and how to cancel. One-time products must not renew. A cooldown or repeatable in-game claim does not by itself make a purchase a subscription.
3. Authorization and renewal
By confirming a subscription checkout, the buyer authorizes the stated recurring charge until cancellation. Each renewal must be recorded as a new provider payment event and must not grant duplicate benefits. A changed renewal price or material benefit change requires advance notice and any consent required by law or the payment provider.
4. Trial or promotional pricing
Any discounted first period, free trial, or promotional price must disclose when it ends and the amount and frequency of the next charge before the buyer subscribes. A crossed-out or comparison price is not sufficient recurring-billing disclosure by itself.
5. Cancellation
Buyers should be able to cancel through the linked purchase-management flow or private support. Cancellation stops future renewals after it becomes effective; it does not normally reverse a period already paid and delivered. Confirmation of cancellation should be recorded and available to the buyer.
6. Access after cancellation
Unless the product page or applicable law says otherwise, a cancelled subscription remains available through the end of its paid billing period, then the recurring role, entitlement, rank, or delivery access expires. Consumable benefits already lawfully delivered are governed by their product terms and are not automatically retracted.
7. Failed, reversed, or disputed payments
If a renewal fails, is reversed, refunded, or disputed, subscription access may be paused or ended after any required notice or grace period. Starz should not repeatedly grant renewal benefits until the provider confirms the payment and the website reconciles that billing period.
8. Refunds
Subscription refund requests follow the Refund Policy. A verified charge after cancellation, duplicate renewal, or renewal without the disclosed authorization is eligible for review. Mandatory cancellation and refund rights in the buyer's jurisdiction remain unaffected.
